CAD/CAM trade show organized by Ardennes CN
Invited to the exhibition organized by Ardennes CN in Nouzonville (08) at the beginning of December, FRA-SYS provided its Performance 8 cores station clocked at 5.2Ghz for the presentation of Hexagon's solutions.
HEXAGON tests our machines
Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence is, among others, a publisher of CAE/CAM software solutions. To prepare the next Open House at Ardennes CN, FRA-SYS lent five machines. Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence has been installed in the FRA-SYS premises to test and measure the necessary performances requested during reverse engineering tests, calculation of a machining path or stamping simulation.
Smart Industries Exhibition
FRA-SYS was present on the PNY booth during the four days of the show. Thus, FRA-SYS was able to present its high performance hardware solutions and their interest in use cases such as CAD/CAM, simulation, calculation, but also massive data processing, artificial intelligence and virtual reality. In addition to the numerous contacts with prospects and customers, participation in this type of event is also an opportunity to meet our partners.
Hardware offer - BECHTLE partnership
With the aim of becoming a major player in the HPC market in France, BECHTLE supports companies looking for high-performance solutions.
FRA-SYS, a French manufacturer of supercomputer workstations and servers, is pleased to be one of BECHTLE's hardware solution partners.
FRA-SYS invited to the Bechtle roadshow in Paris
As part of its roadshow, Bechtle invites customers and prospects to meet with its sales force. Bechtle's new products are presented in product situations. This roadshow traditionally takes place at the end of the day, during the after-work hours. At the Paris event on November 15, FRA-SYS was invited to represent the HPC booth with its two new VISIO and EXO machines.
AVENAO Discovery Mornings
The discovery mornings are led by AVENAO engineers who technically support their customers to improve their experience with the software. On this occasion, FRA-SYS was invited to the meeting organized in Lyon on November 7, 2018. By addressing its customers and prospects through the use they make of their CAD software, AVENAO highlights features that improve or simplify daily life.
ANSYS invites FRA-SYS to present its new Visio machine
On October 11th, ANSYS invited FRA-SYS to the presentation of its solutions in Paris. It was the occasion to present a preview of Visio, a new machine designed for professionals looking for high performance. Like all FRA-SYS machines, Visio integrates latest generation components.
FRA-SYS installs a machine at the ITECH engineering school
As Anne-Catherine Brulez, head of the plastics materials major, explains: "With the Moldflow software we use, we have divided the calculation time by three. Until now, a calculation with 1.8 million elements took about 7 hours on our most powerful machines. With this new FRA-SYS PC, we are, on average, on the same calculation at 2 h 30 minutes."
Computex 2018
Computex is the showcase for computer and high-tech manufacturers. The new products and prototypes that inspire tomorrow's ranges are presented in color and transparency to highlight the finesse and miniaturization. Very much in demand by the gamer market, keyboards, components, coolers that change color.
New partnership with Cradle Software
Following machine tests, software publisher Cradle Software validates FRA-SYS hardware. Acquired in 2016 by MSC Software, a publisher of multiphysics numerical simulation solutions, Cradle Software is specialized in fluid flow and thermal heating simulation (CFD).
10 questions to ask yourself when choosing your STATION
Choosing a new machine is an important purchase. You think you've got a good configuration, but find that you're still waiting behind the workstation. In this case, it's imperative that you pay close attention to the machine's configuration. To help you cross-reference the information provided by manufacturers and editors, we've put together a checklist.
Stress test machine and components
Our R&D laboratory creates innovative products that stand out, or even do not exist elsewhere. To do this, we closely follow the advances of electronics manufacturers and meet with them every year, especially at the Computex trade show in Taipei. This allows our R&D lab to find the best components, both in terms of performance, stability and price.
FRA-SYS innovates by presenting an 18-core machine.
It wasn't until a new processor developed by Intel hit the market in the fall of 2017. Today, FRA-SYS offers a machine with unparalleled efficiency. Until now, we were limited to 20 threads, now it will be 36!
FRA-SYS asserts its European ambition
Since its creation, FRA-SYS has been addressing professionals who are looking for high performance high frequency machines. Our customers are mainly structures installed in France. However, seduced by the reliability and the speed of our stations and servers, our customers also order equipment for their subsidiaries abroad.
New computing servers for the ArcelorMittal research center
FRA-SYS sells computing servers for the ArcelorMittal research center in France. For nearly four weeks, the equipment was subjected to production and load tests. Depending on the software and usage, ArcelorMittal was able to observe a gain in processing times ranging from 20 to 60% compared to those obtained on their own machines. Based on these factual results, the Indian group purchased the four FRA-SYS computing servers.
