FRA-SYS partners with CFD simulation specialist Cradle software

New partnership with Cradle Software

Following machine tests, software publisher Cradle Software validates FRA-SYS hardware. Acquired in 2016 by MSC Software, a publisher of multiphysics numerical simulation solutions, Cradle Software specializes in fluid flow and thermal heating simulation (CFD).

" In an increasingly competitive environment, it is essential for Cradle Europe to support its customers in their daily mission to reduce product development time", emphasizes David MIBORD Sales Manager France & Switzerland for Cradle Europe. "With FRA-SYS machines, users of our solutions can make full use of the power of our software. FRA-SYS enables us to offer our customers a turnkey bundle comprising one of our CFD solutions and a workstation optimized for our hardware requirements. This enables our customers to take full advantage of the power available and achieve optimized processing times at no extra hardware or software cost.

Cradle Software provides all-in-one solutions for fluid thermodynamic analysis

These solutions feature a powerful pre-processing tool for preparing the geometric data required for the calculation. This pre-processing automatically generates the 3D mesh, and features adaptive meshing during calculation. Increasing the mesh size or setting the CAD assembly in motion can have a significant impact on calculation times.

In addition to conventional fluid flow and heat transfer modeling, the solver integrates numerous physical models capable of simulating a wide range of industrial applications (turbomachinery, moving valves or pistons, cavitation prediction, aeroacoustics, Joule effect in an electrical circuit, etc.).

Efficient parallelization, combined with highly economical memory management, allow all these applications to be processed on ever more complex geometries.

Finally, post-processing functions, in addition to the classic visualizations, also offer animations to better appreciate transient phenomena, for example. All these functions are optimized when used with high-performance hardware.

" We are delighted that the demanding Japanese publisher Software Cradle has validated our product range," says FRA-SYS Managing Director François SERTOUR. " Thanks to its French design and manufacturing, FRA-SYS machines are increasingly used by engineering software publishers such as Software Cradle to showcase their simulation solutions."
