INRA chooses FRA-SYS solutions.

After a call for tenders, the INRA research laboratory selected the solutions proposed by FRA-SYS.

The INRA laboratory specializing in biopolymers for 3D printers is working on the production of plastics from renewable resources (corn, sugarcane, beet, potatoes, wheat). These biopolymers are an interesting alternative to petropolymers derived from petrochemical production. Some biopolymers are also biodegradable. The use of biopolymer molecules opens up the possibility of applications in food packaging, disposable hygiene products, textile fibers, electronics and IT. The research laboratory is studying the behavior for use with a 3D printer.

Call for tenders INRA

INRA handles large volumes of data. FRA-SYS proposed a 1 TB Ram cluster with 2 x 500 GB compute nodes. Cluster performance is optimized thanks to the limited number of physical processors (socket). This original high-frequency solution won over its users during the test phase, thanks to both its performance and its tailor-made offer: the machines are imagined and designed in France, on a case-by-case basis. A bit like Haute Couture. The strength of FRA-SYS lies in its ability to listen and analyze customer needs. The company offers unique machines, perfectly tailored to users' needs.
