Innovation with the HORIZON range

FRA-SYS announces the launch of HORIZON, the first 28-core, 56-thread, 4.4 GHz computing station. With this machine, FRA-SYS makes an important leap in its range.

To increase efficiency, customers with clusters were calling for machines to be upgraded. Our R&D unit focused on the best possible configuration. At Computex 2019 in Taipei, FRA-SYS was able to select the ideal processor and motherboard from the range of computer components on offer. Our choice was Intel® Xeon® W-3175the largest Intel processor on the market. FRA-SYS was one of the first hardware manufacturers to introduce this new processor. Meeting FRA-SYS's requirements in terms of performance, security and stability, the processor can be offered in a non-standard configuration.

HORIZON corresponds to all the usual uses of simulation, massive computation, 3D rendering, CAD and CAD/CAM in R&D, design office, production and other departments. Used as a dedicated workstation, HORIZON can also be integrated as a cluster node.

With its unrivalled computing power, HORIZON works with or without an InfiniBand card. This machine stands out in the overclock world. It is available in tower, 2U and 4U rack formats.

Just offered for sale in January 2020, the first HORIZON machine joins an energy engineering firm.
